Separate data sets into individual parts (regions of interest, or "ROIs") that may consist of different components and materials using manual selection, drawing tools, and even semi-automated tools.
Create regions of interest for segmenting different materials. This can be used in a wide range of applications—for example, you can create visualizations or perform further analyses based on a selected gray value range of interest, regions constrained to specific gray value intervals, or the dynamic flooding of seed points until specified gray value limits are reached. Typical use cases include organic shapes in biological or geological samples, or organic shapes within engineered components, like fluid channels.
Create regions of interest with clearly defined shapes for visualization, segmentation, or further analyses from manually defined region outlines, automatically determined surfaces, or geometry elements fitted to surfaces combined with Boolean operations such as addition, subtraction, or intersection. Typical use cases include parts of engineered components or assemblies.
